During a phone conversation, I sneezed three times in quick succession, prompting an “oh, no” response. I replied with the title of this blog post. I’ve been swimming in lakes in the Seattle area every summer for years, and I don’t remember it ever being this bad.

I’m supposed to be in Spain right now. Many months ago, in a world that looked so different from today’s world, I registered for a one-week travel writing class. I was looking forward to enjoying tapas and wine.
